The Kippa-Ring North lakes rotary club has been active in the community since it was first chartered in 1977.
The number of community projects this club has undertaken during this time is exhaustive. More recent projects include:
- Painting Meals of Wheels Deception Bay kitchen
- Cresting a common room and furniture and equipment for residents at Chameleon House
- Creating a disability playground and pathways at Woody Point Special School
- Providing a modified trailer to PNG to assist sick or injured people in the mountains be transported to hospitals
- Raising large amounts of funds to enable research into mental health through Australian Rotary Health grants
